Charles Hunter Sensei is the Scottish Representative for the Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu organisation and Chief Instructor for Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu and Itosu-ryu Karate-do in Scotland.

He is a highly regarded martial artist who has hosted international seminars and achieved high-ranking Dan grades in both Karate and Kobudo.

He represents the Kongo-ryu lineage directly, having trained directly under the founder of the Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu, Ryusho Sakagami, who was himself a direct student of Taira Shinken.

Hunter sensei oversees all Kongo-ryu Kobudo training in Scotland.
